COMPARATIVES AND SUPERLATIVES: EXPLANATION.
Here you have the explanation of comparative adjectives. If you have any problem, ask me or send me an e-mail with your questions.
COMPARATIVES AND SUPERLATIVES: THEORY
this explanation does not include "too + adjective (+ to infinitive)", "not + adjective + enough (+to infinitive)", "Adjective + enough (+ to infinitive)" & "enough + noun (+to)". I include some examples of each construction:
1- This car is too slow (to compete in the race). (demasiado + adjetivo + para...)
2- This car is not fast enough (no es lo suficientemente + adjetivo) Remember it is a negative sentence!
3- He is tall enough (to participate) (lo suficientemente + adjetivo + para...)
4- There is enough money in my bag to buy this food (suficiente + nombre + para...)
Remember that the second part (to infinitive) is not always necessary.
I hope you find this useful!
See you in class.
César.
